Product Overview

Clear transparent plastic roll lamination film available in glossy or matte finish, used for dry thermal lamination with paper or paperboard using various laminator machines. Made with BOPP base film and EVA adhesive glue that melts during the laminating process. Customized roll sizes available, such as 445mm*3000m, 630mm*3000m, etc.

What is BOPP Thermal Lamination Film?

BOPP Thermal Laminating Film is primarily composed of BOPP + EVA layers combined through extrusion coating process. One side features BOPP film properties while the other side provides heat-sensitive surface for dry lamination. Available in glossy/shine/transparent and matte/opaque finishes with thickness ranging from 14micron to 32micron. Width options from 180mm to 1880mm and length from 150m (1 inch core, 25mm) to 4000m (3 inch core, 76mm).

How to Use BOPP Thermal Lamination Film

Requires a laminating machine (hot laminator) to melt EVA adhesive onto substrates like paper. The film passes over a heated roller and adheres to paper under appropriate pressure. This easy process can be performed at home for small applications. Also known as heat lamination, dry lamination, or hot lamination.

Operation Guidance

Adjust roller pressure and temperature according to paper and ink types
Conduct small trial volume when using film for first time or changing sizes
Normal process temperature: 90°C-105°C (203°F - 221°F)
Ensure ink is completely dry before laminating
Store materials in low temperature, dry environments

Quality may be affected by: metal ink, ink with excessive wax/dried oil/adhesive/silicon additives, overly thick ink, undried ink, humid paper, or excessive surface powder.
